'LAST TANGO IN PARIS' ACTRESS MARIA SCHNEIDER DIES AT 58: This week has not been easy for the film community. A few days later we lost the celebrated composer John Barry comes word that died of another legend, the French actress Maria Schneider.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schneider died on Thursday in Paris after a long illness. Additional points are not presently accessible. MARIA SCHNEIDER was fifty-eight while she died.

MARIA SCHNEIDER, the girl of actor Daniel Gelin, had a film career that affects more than two dozen films, most of whom were French. But it was the turn of Schneider as an actress of 19 years in front of "Godfather" and "On the Waterfront" icon Marlon Brando in "Last Tango in Paris" which she is best known for.

The controversial 1972 film, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, centered on Paul, an American middle-aged man who is deeply mourns the suicide of his wife. Paul went to France and met Jeanne, a young woman who is betrothed, when they express an interest in both the rental of the apartment itself. The encounter leads to a secret sexual affair, one that has serious consequences for individuals.

"Last Tango in Paris" has caused all the uproar in the U.S. when it first came out - let's just say it had something to do with the butter and leave it at that - but the film nevertheless received several Oscar nominations, including nods from Brando and Bertolucci. Although the film has provided her most famous role, Schneider has acted opposite several other acting legends like Jack Nicholson in "The Passenger". Could she rest in peace
