JERRY SLOAN RESIGNS

"I had confrontations with players since I've been in the league," he said. "But these are minor things to the extent the future. It is what it is."

"I've never had a team that did everything I wanted on the court, it is with good teams and bad teams," he said later. "I do not think most team’s bat 100 percent of what you want them to do on the court."

Greg Miller, the owner of the team, echoed these sentiments.

"Nobody chased Jerry or Phil," Miller said. "No players pushed out. [General Manager] Kevin O'Connor did not push him out, I did not push, and not the coaches moved him to. "

If you thought you had a rather large dilemma in deciding whether to splash on the (soon-to-be-arriving-we think) iPad 2, or whether to wait until the land HP TouchPad recently announced later this year, then you likely don't wish to listen about rumors suggesting that iPad third generation will arrive in September 2011.
A pair of pillars Stateside tech blogging - John Gruber of audacious Fireball and MG Siegler Tech Crunch - said that the 3 IPAD (lack of a better name) will launch a surprise Cupertino giant later this year, just months after the (not-yet-very-official) iPad 2 hits Apple Stores.
Gruber speculation began with a prediction that:
"Summer feels like a long absence. If my theory is correct, they are not only going to be 2 months late iPad, but if they slip up in late summer, they can bump against the release of the 3 IPAD. "
He has since clarified this as a personal theory, but the report Siegler at Tech Crunch says it could be accurate.
"A few days ago, we heard a very good source that Apple has been assembling the pieces of a" big surprise fall, "he writes." Although fascinating, which obviously could not say anything. But part of the "surprise" clearly means that there is something beyond the regular iPod / iTunes.
